KFP chimkin cookie jar

In the kitchens of KFP, the smell of freshly baked cookies is a constant delight. However, this irresistible aroma has been drawing the attention of the ever-curious Takodachis. To counteract their spying efforts, KFP came up with a clever plan: a cookie jar so enticing, it would distract any Takodachi from their mission.
The design? A round, rotund chimkin, just like the ones waddling around KFP. These cookie jars, filled to the brim with delicious cookies, were designed to blend in with the kitchen environment, camouflaging among the real chimkins. The idea was simple: the Takodachis, drawn by the smell of cookies, would be too distracted and confused by the inanimate chicken to carry out their spying mission.
To bring this plan to life, KFP turned to 3D printing. This allowed for the rapid production of these chimkin cookie jars, enabling all KFP staff to join in the counter-spying efforts.
And that’s how the KFP Chimkin cookie jar was born. Now, you can join the fun with this 3D printable model. It’s a fun project, a functional cookie jar, and It might even help keep those pesky Takodachis at bay!
The cookie jar is designed in two parts: the body of the chimkin (the jar) and its head (the lid). The model is about 190mm high and 145mm wide on both the x and y axis. It’s a decent size for a cookie jar, and it’s also a cute decorative item that will surely spark conversations. You can always scale it up or down of course.
In my experience, the head took around 8 hours to print, and the body took about 11 hours. But don’t let that deter you. The joy of seeing the chimkin take shape layer by layer is worth the wait! (if you don’t stare at your printer while it prints, did you even print something?).
Having a 3D printed chimkin in your home is like having a piece of the community with you. And while it’s perfect for storing cookies, you can use it to store anything you like. Let your imagination run wild! But I’ll give you a warning! don’t keep it too close to you if it’s full of cookies or you’ll end up emptying in a blink (I speak from my own experience 😭)
The model is free to download, but if you appreciate the work and want to support future projects, feel free to buy me a coffee. Just remember, the model is licensed under the CC – Attribution – Non Commercial license, so it’s for personal use only.
